Enjoy nature from a new perspective in this innovative and stylish cabin, just an hour from London.
Lie back and look up – with the see-through roof you can stargaze from the comfort of the king-size bed. Enjoy the views across the fields as you soak away the rush of modern life.
The kitchen and loo are housed on the deck, and there’s a wood-fired BBQ if you want to up your cooking game from the gas hobs. As you look out over the fields of the working farm you might see tractors during the harvest, but won’t see anyone else from your private spot in the trees. Parking is 20 yards behind you too, so it’s easy to roll up and settle straight in.
If you somehow manage to get tired of bathing and napping you can head off on the trails from your door that lead all the way to Epping and Ongar (if you’re feeling energetic). The latter is your best bet for a local shop, but if it’s a pint you’re after then make the 15-minute walk to Toot Hill and stop at The Green Man for a fine traditional ale.
Brothers Tim and Pete can point you in the direction of the area’s many attractions, but they’re also happy to leave you to yourselves. All they want is for you to relax and enjoy the quiet of the countryside as much as they do.

Things to do
Most of our guests come to escape the noise and bustle of City life, and so typically while away their time enjoying nature in relaxed seclusion. For those feeling more active we have left at The Old Oak details of local walks, trails and cycle rides for you to experience during your time with us.
We are near to Epping Forest which has some lovely spots, and National Trust and other attractions, including the Gibberd Garden. Old fashioned Epping High Street is also worth an amble if you need to shop.
We also invite you to explore our farm, set over 200 acres of ancient farmland, including traditional hedgerows and notable trees and even a babbling brook. We ask that you do not walk across the fields though – we are still a working farm. There are details of tracks across the farm in The Old Oak.
